Changes That Heal: How to Understand the Past to Ensure a Healthier Future , there are four
areas of character growth that help make
us whole emotionally and functionally as
adults.
1) Bonding: Learning how to be close
to others
2) Boundaries: Learning how to set
limits
3) Becoming Equals: Seeing ourselves as of equal value
with other adults, not inferior or
superior.
4) Good and Evil: Coming to terms with
right and wrong and receiving forgiveness from God.
