Pearl Stringing

Each difficulty we go through in life takes a distinct amount of character and effort.   In the aftermath, you can examine your life and see that something unique, substantial and positive is left behind.

It takes an oyster about 4 years to build the secretions around an irritating grain of sand that has entered within the softness inside, but once complete a beautiful pearl has been created.

List the trials and storms you've been through in your past and next to each one list the pearl that you've gained by going through it.  You'll be amazed at how much self-respect is gained by realizing all you've gone through and what you've gained.
