When traveling through
transition, confusion
and discouragement are
normal and to be
expected.
Considering the
circumstances, you are
doing great! We all want
tight written directions
for the journey, but
sometimes we must
discard this
prerequisite to make
progress because God
knows that His
destination for us is
not on any map in our
brains.
We can be sure at least
that our present
situation is
unacceptable and our own
solutions circular. What
then? We must
surrender ourselves into
the hands of a loving
God as we understand Him
through prayer and ask
for the eyes of faith to
recognize those He sends
to us. This is not
easy when we've been
hurt because trust of
others is low. But
God works through
imperfect people who do
their best to carry His
love. Keep your
eyes on Him and He will
be your trust, wisdom
and strength.
"I pray that the eyes of
your heart may be
enlightened in order
that you may know the
hope to which he has
called you..."
The Apostle Paul -
Letter to the Ephesian
Church 1:18
