Did you know...?

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ) Cocaine and heroin are the the main drugs abused in Massachusetts.

Colombian and Dominican drug traffickers are the top distributers throughout the state.

Illegal use of OxyContin® is a “gateway drug” to heroin use and should never be used without a doctor's recommendation and prescription.  Abuse of this drug will make every problem in one's life ... dramatically worse.

Alcohol and Substance Abuse

Substance abuse provides a temporary euphoria.  Everything seems fantastic for a short time.  But that high is always followed by an awful  'down' feeling when it wears off.  You feel a little worse than before you started. There's a measurable net loss of happiness.  Now what?  "Try the drug again!" is the quick answer.  Get high, (although the high is not quite as good this time) and then wake up low, a little lower than the first crash. It's sneaky.  Time goes by.  The cycle continues and perhaps it can go on for years.  The consequences come in one by one.  A job loss. A relationship loss.  Health loss. Loss of will. Get off this train and fight back with God's strength, and community support.  He loves you and knows how to make you feel like yourself.  The real you.  The wonderful you He created and redeemed.  Ask Him to lead you to a good spirit-filled grace giving church.  And begin a new adventure...
