Many times we see people who have lost all strength to fight an addiction become very powerful overcomers filled with love, humility and wisdom to share with others. What happened?  They tapped into God's strength and now know that without Him they can do nothing.  When we reach the end of our own strength in an area, we become more willing to seek and accept His will and power for our lives and the help through others that He sends us.   God can do His best work in us when we stop resisting His efforts. 

The apostle Paul once wrote, "And God said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”"  1Cor. 12:9

 Feeling weak can be the beginning of a new life in His strength.  So let us then pray, "Lord, I am weak and unable to be strong on my own, but I ask for your strength to help me take the next step. I place my problems at your feet knowing that you love me and will provide the answers I need. I pray for the knowledge of your will and strength to carry it out. Praise You Lord."
