RehabTreament.Info founded by Rhonda David, MS., LFMT in 2009, is a resource portal for those seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction for themselves or their loved ones.

Rhonda David has been a California licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice since 1996 specializing in family therapy and recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Since her own recovery as a teenager in the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, she has had a special heart for those suffering with chemical dependency who are willing to walk the path of recovery.

"When I served as a Director of a Rehab in Los Angeles, I found that concerned family members did not get the full attention they were craving because the duties and time constraints of staff with a full patient census were simply prohibitive. 

I found myself comforting and offering direction into the late hours for a parent or spouse trying to figure out what the next step was and what role they should play.   Sometimes I functioned as an “Interpreter” for adult children who were just exasperating their families who needed someone to explain what was happening and what the game plan was.   Sometimes I had to give tough-love and directness to someone who was acting out and taking others down with them.

As with any program, sometimes our center did not always fit with the personality of the patient and there I was making calls into the night to detox units, hospitals, other rehabs, or veterans services for a program that was more tailored to the specific need.     

Needless to say, working all day, and being on the phone till midnight was not sustainable, so I decided to step-out and do what I love.  I have added Sober-Coaching Services to my private practice in support of patients and families in recovery throughout the United States.

Services Include:

• Education and Support in choosing a treatment option.

• Intake and Assessment:  History, current circumstances, legal, marital, children, work, personality issues.

• Financial Assessment:  Is there medical insurance coverage?  What kind of program can we afford?

• Spiritual Assessment:  Is there room for faith in God and faith-based programs?

• Support Assessment:   Building a support system for the long-haul.

• Education Assessment:  Personal growth takes effort and understanding of causes and cures.   

• Crisis Intervention:   The recovery process is not smooth, and you’ll be glad to have someone to call.

• Rate:  $90.00 per hour.  Longer term packages available.

You will be amazed at how much can be accomplished, how many mistakes avoided, crises de-escalated, situations stabilized, long term plans established … in a short amount of time.
